Long Haul

Walking into the store
with a mask on seeing 
lysol on the shelf,
Made me feel like
life was normal 
for a bit.
Turning on the tv
when I got home
turned me into
a skeptic and 
I threw a lil fit.
Looking around 
wondering why
its came to this,
Hoping this will
end sooner than 
later and thinking
of all I can to keep 
my family safer ,
I’m in it for the ,
long haul.
