~~LORD THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO

Lord there is nothing we can do
Unless we first surrender to you
You are the one who needs to guide
You are the one who will provide
You are the one who shows us the way
You are the one who says go or stay
It is only by your spirit that we can do
All of the things you want us to do
There can be no flesh left no human desire
You are the one who fills us with fire
You are the one who prepares us for use
There can be none of our SELF left to spoil our view
There is so much we have to know
I thought I’d surrendered all but there was SELF on show
I need to be more humble it is not about ME
I need to hear more clearly no more ME to see
I thank you Lord for a lesson learned
I surrender myself for more flesh to be burned
Lord there is nothing I can do
Unless I first surrender to you!
