Loser

Loser

I can't seem to breathe anymore.
The air is suffocating me and the black sky above, with its many blinking eyes, surrounds me in a chilling embrace.
I can't seem to see anymore.
Color has left me and all there is, is black and grey.
I can't feel it.
Where is the warmth that I once knew in your bare soul?
Is it hiding?
Is it lost?
Alone the owl 'hoos' the night away...
And again I am stuck.
Stuck and left wondering how I became who I am today.
Alone.
In love with the thought of you, but still scared to move my curtains and brush the dust off...
Like a book, you'll be a chapter...
A chapter of my cold, small heart.
