Loss

Loss

Oh how deep is our grief, when one we love is gone

The ones that are let behind, mourn the loss one so young

The pain that makes it hard to breathe, to know that he is gone

The loss of one so precious, our brother, cousin, nephew, and son

At times we'll cry, and others we'll laugh, for the memories remain

Yet the memories will hardly suffice, till we see him once again
