Poem -
Lost
I remember the beating
I remember the pain
Blow after blow after blow
My mind was racing with fear
Thinking what did I do
What didn’t I do
Who deserves this
Nobody I say
Nobody at all
I wish I could just
Disappear into the wall
When it was all over
I am covered with bruises
From head to toe
With nothing to say
And nowhere to go.

Struggles in life indeed!
Definitely a scary situation and once you're married and to realize it was a side of himself he kept hidden because, you probably wouldn't have married him...
He knew he had it in him the whole time...
