Lost Girl

Lost Girl

In solitude, dampened mood of excess thoughts,
Despair, unfair as it is, distraught.
Taught nothing of grief, release of steep,
Deep emphatic stress, tears caress,
Softly in stream.

Tension, apprehension of social release,
When will it cease and end to be,
Black and white, hue in drain,
Refrain from existence whilst reminisce of what you used to be.

She wonders adrift amidst the trees,
Pain riddled, cannot be fixed or so it would seem.
To step outside of her mind and find a broken vessel, insane.
Slowly through age her rage will descend and amend.
Empress is she, will ascend and she’ll be free to love, to trust, to be happy again.
