Lost Love & Broken Plans

Heaven just tested us.
We failed in strength
We failed in effort
We failed on each other
We were on a Battlefield
that we laid out just for each other...
Resentment was my problem
but you can't speak my love language to solve it...
I tried to fill your love tank
For your own survival
while you were just trying to make me smile...
I was already getting prepared for the battle against the world
that believes we have to
Justify our love
Not approve of us
Holding hands.
They're against us
Just because they have
lost love
& broken plans.
I sometimes wish that our timeline for each other was reversed.
As soon as we met
It was instant attachment.
Then it rolled over to
A complete misunderstanding ...

The feeling is lost.

Instead we coulda took it slow
Allow the feeling
to just simply grow,
make it stick
And when it was time
Jump in
and never let go..

I feel for you, I truly do.
but I don't think
my chaotic Kingdom
Is the best place for you..
I'm confused
& I'm bitter
But for love
I'll do anything
Because there ain't a damn thing in this cold life that could be better.

Your arrival was so amazing
you came and lit up the sun
in my very own horizon
but it dimmed low
when animosity started rising...
Hopefully one day you find me...
When you do
Pretend like you don't know me...
So that next time we can start something new
That could possibly be
everlasting.
