Lost Not Found.

Lost Not Found.Â
By L.M.Robbins.
When we walked together yesterday,
Along the beach, ankle deep in the foam
and the spray,
I looked at you, but you looked away.Â
The seagulls hung in salty air,
Kids built castles without a care,
But you gave me not a second look,
As the sea breeze, your hair,
playfully shook.Â
Walking back the way we came,
Some finger-pointing, about who to blame.
Girls and boys in love passed us by,
Reminding me, of you and I.Â
I remember we played that game,
The cat and mouse, lover’s game.
Though that was in younger days,
When we were a brand.
That was in younger days,
When you could find my hand.
