Poem -

Lost Soul

I stand here
atop a mountain great
I search to find me
nowhere in sight
I fall
screaming
crying for help
why can't I save
this single lost soul?
Alone once more
I climb to the top
can I sucseed with such little rope?
no safety net to catch
this single lost soul.
I cry and the tears flow freely from the edge
just one more step and I'll be gone
isn't there a person left standing
who can save this single lost soul?
