Poem -
Lost Thoughts
Leaning on simplicity
The little words were lost
In the tall tales of being grown
In the underbrush of routine
Yet no ceremony to separate
I sit here with vast confusion
I only stopped to contemplate
The reason my watch had stopped
Found my train of thought
Totally lost in watching someone get
a hot dog
I felt hunger as never before
So of course the watch was not set
I gained a hot dog
and
When it started to rain
I went home
