Poem -

Lost in the Vice-grip of Unrequited Love

I sit next to you again
Mesmerized by your beautiful eyes
Unrivaled by goddesses, by diamonds or arctic water
My soul outpours its cry, "My love!"
In silence unperturbed, time marches forth

Your voice, like finest silk, joined by orchestra
Of angels and nymphs
Your face, may Aphrodite only know
And find herself envious for the first time

My love, if only you knew
My friend, if only...

AHhhahshajlkal,
Screw this, you'll never like me back,
I may as well smash my head against a wall
For all the time I've wasted idolizing you

That one look was all it took
You had me in your snare
Laughing as all my dreams rose to embody you
And my life became empty
Since you were never possible

Not that it's your fault.
Go eat some broccoli or whatever it is that you do,
Time for me to move on
I've got things to do.
Maybe you'll like me then.......

Painful

You turned my blood blue.
I opened up to you,
I didn’t want to.
