Lost without you

I woke up with tears on my face

My pillow wet after I realise crying would never

Bring back the love and happiness I lost

With the pieces of my broken heart

I take them from my diary as my shaky hands try to put them

Together and get ready to go on with my daily life without

Love my emotions run away to reckless places

As I see the man who broke my heart walk along the road with

Another woman the thought of him when he was with him

As he promised me a dream I wanted so badly as I look around I see you

My heart stops  and the pieces of my heart that I have fixed

This morning break  again into pieces

And that’s when I realise that I am lost without you

As I fall down on my knees with  no strength to stand up

And walk as I cry once again my eyes roll back and my heart is destroyed

And my pulse is disconnected and my life is torn apart

and I realise that I love you with every piece of my heart.
