LOVE

LOVE 
Love is a feeling that we have within us
That has no frame of time
Something that’s uncontrollable but yet hard to come by
As the love I have for you is real but yet unconditional
As I try to get you to understand that I can’t fix
All of your problems
But I can assure that you won’t have to face them all alone
As I choose you and only you over and over again
Without a pause in my heartbeat and mind i’ll forever choose you
I accept you for who you are
I accept your past
But most importantly I support your present days
And encourage your future
I see past your imperfections and flaws
Only wanting to work on them with you instead of against you
Realizing I think about you all day and all night
I began to ponder on how long you been on my mind
It occurred to me that it was the very first time we meet
And I saw your beautiful smile
That smile that give me butterflies
Wanting to believe that we can fly high
But only to find out that special someone wasn’t really
Who we thought they was
Where love is like an elastic band held at both ends by two
Where one leaves it hurts with a snap back flash of reality
That flash of reality that true love is real but yet is hard to find
Wanting the person who would
Love me without restrictions
Trusts me without fear
Wants me without demands
But most importantly accepts me for who I am
We often fall in love with the most unexpected person
At the most unexpected time
Only not to realize that those we think that’s for us
Is only in our lives for a reason and a season
Placed in our lives only to teach us what we needed  
At that give moment in that season
Why most of us is blind by what it is
