Love

Love

Space.

There’s space between us, love, my love,
there’s city space, there’s water space,
spaces bars I cannot pass.

My thoughts are filled with longing words
tell a love that shall not yet avail
my knocking heart, chambers of fragile glass.

Your eyes look up, mine look down,
I see the far-off promised land
beyond the hills the Afrikaner sup,

where sleep and sing a divine crown,
nature pearls of beasts and men,
living in an harmonious cup.

Time is short, the shadows stretch,
fly to me, I fly to you
let’s make together the crazy way.

We can’t hide in lonely edges,
sin with me, I sin with you
so long the day is called today.

I tell you what I dreamed last night,
it was not dark, it was light,
all I dreamed was but to learn
that all is small save love
for love is all in all.

Hi Herve',
Great write as usual.
However, we wonder if we are
suitably qualified to write about such things.
Regards,
Terry.
