LOVE
If i got to hear you, the tears i could not hold,
If i had held you,my bonds would never unfold,
if i was given the gift to meet you, forever loved you'd show,
you weren't given a chance to see, smile, grow
ripped away with one strong painful blow,
my heart aches,fore your name i shall never know,
I carry you with me in my dreams my heart my soul
a tiny innocent life so brutally exposed
I was your mother for a brief moment in life, now only
a shell you used to call home

I wrote this in memory of my unborn child, loss due to miscarriage but the love i have for them is still in my heart forever remembered, forever loved, no soul should go on with out being loved. Thank you for your time, and i hope you liked my piece.

Although sorry was not why, this poem was being displayed are asked for, when it was posted but will be my first response to the mother and father and say that it was better to have loved even for just a brief moment and had, rather than not loved or had the opportunity to have had, loved any at all.You will see this child again and next time, not only to be held in your dear hearts but in your arms as well...... forever..Well written poem and with all of the feelings of a proud mother to have been..Keep your head up...

a beautiful piece lacey ,iv'e been there myself and i know it carries through your life with you ,but the happiness in the thought of the child is around in spirit watching .and waiting for its time to be reunited gives a little peace .tina x
