Poem -

my turn

I made it before I new your name

I walked alone before loving your smile

I was free before feeling your love

I slept sound before caressing your lips

I dreamt of sugar plums before i felt your touch

                               Now my hands shake

                                Knees become weakened

                           My mind has become speechless

but i step forward with a soldier stagger

I pry myself from this grey sidewalk

I forever retire as your welcome mat

I will make it after knowing  your name

I will walk alone after loving your smile

I shall be free again after loosing the chains you call love

I will sleep sound without caressing your lips

                                       I WILL DREAM AGAIN.....
