Why are there guidelines for falling in love,
Oh, you're too young
He's of another religion
They're the same sex

No. 
Love isn't about gender
Love isn't about lifestyles
Love is about feelings

Love is about the way their hand fits in yours, 
The way you could not talk for hours yet still feel so close
The way you can walk down the streets and couldn't care what anyone thought 

Falling for their gender,
Falling for their commitment to religion,
Falling for their awkward smile, 
Is love. 

When you're in love, you know it.
Because nothing matters apart from that one person. 
No matter what skin colour, gender or religion
When you're in love, you're in love.
