Our light

Everything we do, we do with light. 
I'm not talking metaphorically,
I'm not talking about light in darkness, 
I'm talking about our mobile phones

Our social network holder.
Our thoughts of our friends
Our words to a poem, 
This one Right here was written on my phone.

Everything we do is placed on texts. 
"I tripped over my dog" said ken
"I really need a wee" said joe. 
"I am sooooo drunk" said mat

It may be fun 
And it may help the contact of people, but...
Do we really need it? 

Do we need the endless texts
Do we need the constant talks.
The true answer to that is...
Yes, yes we do

Without it we'd be bored. 
We'd be fighting for our country 
We'd be spending time with people.
We'd be meeting new people doing new things in new places. 

Although phones give us chances,  Our phones take away the experiences we could have. 
The love we could meet. 

You may be in a relationship,
You may be distanced from a family or friend... 
But do you know many good times with them other than on texts? 
Why use your texts on them?

I was always told, don't spend money on people, spend time.
Because times the only thing you can't get back
