Love Alone Again

Dreamless nights over and over,
No matter how hard I try,
I can't remember your beautiful tears.

I want to hold you again,
And wipe away the sadness,
Because I still love you.

My heart aches, with forgetfulness,
Because you're not here,
It's been too many years since the Angels carried you home.

No matter how hard I try,
I can not find anybody else,
To lift up and love,

I'm always told,
It's time to say goodbye.
