a stolen night so no-one could see
making out behind the school bike shed
fumbling clumsily not knowing what to do
nervous laughs and giggles at anything said
you knowing who they know who knows someone else
thinking that really was the connection between you
saying "i love you" not knowing the road ahead
and the" suck" on the neck
life almost drained from you
cringing in a little pain but being brave
thinking it meant you love each other
then showing it off to friends
the thrill  and excitement
hiding it from family ,covering it up
black,blue,purple and red
that love-bite reared its ugly head
now we know it was first time passion
a memory gone but not forgotten
love-bites,strangest little symbols we called
