A Love Built upon Sand

The fire—an ocean of flames: her sorrow—my dripping soul.

I yearn—the sophic torch—afire, my heart. Such poise: such

Grace: a mental lance; and so far removed—our vision.

A façade—such glory: a combination of traits. The pedestal—

So high: we proved human. I wailed: “calamity”: We died—the

Imperfect. If only laughter—so sweet—our flowing tears.

So young—the agony; and such fire—the tragedy. The portrait—

So hazy, a vicar prays. And we dine—a nightmare, a

Masquerade of fears. Unmask, my love: forgive the

Imposition—a well of glass. Restore the image: flee the plank.

Indeed, the fire—an ocean of flames: our sorrow, a dripping

Soul. We dress the folly—shards of life—a human struggle.

And façade, a crystal weight, stirring ambition.
