Poem -

Love comes before gloating

(Psalms 59 & 60)

You have shaken the land and torn it open; mend its fractures, for it is quaking. You have shown your people desperate times; you have given us wine that makes us stagger.

Oh My LJ
I slandered you,
the only other human worthy of my love

I did you much wrong

And now, in His permissible will,
God has let you gloat over me,
as is your right

But it will come at a cost

For His ultimate will is that we live inside Grace

Death severs, Life unites

We've both been paying a hefty price

But God will have His way some day

And we're going to surrender to Love

And then, in the fortress of Forgiveness,
we shall see the forest now hidden within our only seed
