"To Love & Die" (Inspired by Jhene Aiko)

Tell me, my love: it’s more than a dream. For I die the love

A graft unbidden. And so much this war—to live the love.

I pause, a passion rising—and we die the furry—if only to

Fly love. I’m so afraid, carnage and bloodshed, a glory

Unforgivin’. But furry eyes, my invitation, a woman

Screaming, “Love.” Invoke the legend, a dying fear; and

Speak the vision, a rising love. For such a breath, to die

Flame. [Selah] In this city of rage, we cry death; and die joy.

Everything is our mission, an orange sky. Feel free to

Perish, a love of miracles. In death, stroke a lash, and

Flight a fear. For carnage is destiny; and blood is life. Awake

The marshal, a vision is bleeding. Tell me, my love, it’s

More than a dream. For we fight the virus, a love of death;

And dight the crimson, enlove with birth.
