Poem -

Is love enough?

Is love enough?

Is love enough
I ask myself darling while listening
To Mozart symphony 25,
You pour hot coffee
So bitterly liebling

Then you throw the cup
The hot coffee in my face
Screaming out the syllables
"Ich hasse dich"
I hate you so much

All these bitter years have past
You an animal in my mind
Cages none can hold you
I can't hold you....
This god,  I damn well cannot find

You were once my darling, my liebling
I your soldier rough
Like a song without words
You left me empty asking
Is love enough?
