Poem -

Love is blind

You pulled the wool right over my eyes. Nice and tight you made me blind. How dumb am I to believe all your lies. All your promises came with ties. The goal you keep just out of my reach. Then watch me tip toe and laugh when I weep. Your silver tongue and golden words worked there magic and struck me dumb. A fool you have made of me. Now I see behind your words, they have no power over me but my heart you have hurt. Your words now my weapons I will seek to destroy you.
