Love is Love

Love is a science, no love is a feeling,

No love is something I don’t believe in,

Love is caring for another,

Love is feeling like sister and brother.

Love is just love.

Love doesn’t see height or weight,

Love doesn’t see is you’re gay, bi, or straight,

Love sees whatever is inside of you.

Because love is love.

It doesn’t define every way of your life,

It cannot decide between soap or a knife,

And love isn’t just between you and me.

Love is between you and you too.

Love makes us feel strong when we feel alone,

It makes us feel tall when we want to shrink down,

Love helps us get up off the ground,

When we just want to cry,

Or worse, when we just want to die.

Love can save us from others and ourselves,

It gives us power, strength, and self-worth,

Love give us everything that we deserve.

Without love, we would be nowhere.

You may not say you see love, but it’s all around.

It’s in the razor blade when you decided to put it down.

Because love is love.

Love cannot discriminate,

It cannot see religion or race,

Love cannot see hair color, or beauty,

Love can only see what is within you.

Love can see your strengths,

And weaknesses too.

It shows you how to feel better about you.

Love shows us every day and night,

How we will never need to fight.

Because love, is love.
