Love Letter

Hold to hope my darling, hold to those moments our souls intermingled like the fingers of our hands. Desperate to be intwined with one another as if our very atoms knew they were built to be joined. For even they knew our power together.

Hold to hope my love; when sad I hope you day dream of us. Huddled together by water with friends or just us and the air. May these memories of our love’s versatility bring warmth to you on cold days and nights. I hope the remnant of my kiss will remind you that you are loved beyond the comprehension of touch. I hope you feel my touch on your soul as you’ve whispered before. 

Hold to hope my best friend, so that you know I am always beside you. Beyond my selfish desire to have you all to myself I will stand with you in war and peace. 

Hold to hope my queen for we will need it to change the world. Much like the Gatsbys tale re-wrote the pages of my life with a single kiss in a hot car on a cool night. 

I go on because you gave me hope. And finally taught me love.
