Love Me One Day

Empathy fills my mind,
Empty and left behind.
A girl over there is hoping,
While she failed at coping.
One cannot understand,
That which they do not see.
Her soulless gaze turns onto me.
But I turn away to stray,
Walk from the path of sorrow.
My soul ain't here to borrow.
So, here I strut alone.
A sin, which I must atone.
Love is blind, I own sight.
And to me, this ain't so bright.
A connection forever or not?
