Poem -
Love of baking
Hours and bundles of senseless joy
which color icing and shape of sprinkles
Which divine animal and creation drawn on top
It fills the soul but leaves you wanting more
Always craving new designs
New colors and molds
cakes are the most divine creation
Better than cookies or brownies and chocolate
Each creation magnificently thought out to be unique
especially Halloween or Christmas cakes....every decoration fitting
my love for eating not as much as decorating
It tingles my senses evermore.......

5 stars because it is well written and, also, who doesn't love a beautiful cake? I see some absolutely stunning creations from people. I used to make my kids birthday cakes. They weren't the best. They tasted great but my creativity was seriously wanting ?? I made a Thomas the Tank Engine cake for my eldest sons 5th birthday. It would certainly not have featured on "Rate my Cake" but he loved it and still remembers it to this day. So all the stress was more than worth it. See what you've gone and done? You have got me thinking back on all the special birthday creations I made. Thank you x
