Love Shape

A fact of life is falling in love,

Can’t control how hard we fall.

Learn from each mistake we make,

True love will conquer all.

You can’t appreciate love,

Till your hearts been broken.

Nothing can prepare the pain,

Regardless of ones devotion.

My advice to you is easy,

Only friends you place your trust,

They only want what’s good for you,

What your feeling now is lust.

Though they only try and help,

Telling the truth when they can.

It’s hard to hear the words sometimes,

You need to stand and be a man.

We only get one chance my friend,

In life there is no other.

If things get heavy I am here for you,

Consider me your brother.

The shape of love is hard to tell,

I know it has three sides.

The truth is only one of them,

Regardless how it hides.
