Poem -

The Love of War

She walks a thousand miles beneath a broken sky.

She asked God for things, but he could not comply.

Broken, shattered, lost, and all alone.

Destitute and dying here;ย she's lost without a home.

My broken heart is dried of tears. There's nothing here that's true

I asked God for things I new he could not do.

Broken, shattered, lost along the road.

I'm heaven helped and lost again. My love has never showed.

A thousand tries, a thousand lies, a thousand broken dreams

I asked God for war, but all I got was peace.

The love of war is nothing fair. There's nothing here that's true.

I asked God for things I knew he gave to you.
