The Lover's Moon

The Moon walks in Love's tides,
and softly kisses the Ocean
as a lover coming in,
and tenderly kisses her as she goes out.
 
There are Men who have never known love,
from well wishers in silk,
or from soft hands
adorned in sweet promises.
 
Life is like a dance,
to drops of pure water
feeding fish
with bubbles of new air,
 
it's splashes speak
to an everlasting hope
as the Mountains pore forth
this abundance.
 
A woman's skin
was made
for the lips
of one lover,
 
while the sight of such,
is pleasure for multitudes,
her smell is competition
to the flowers, and reasons
for the high in any bird's song.
 
As a lover without a love,
I can speak with passion's full,
for I too know first hand
the wait for just an experience.
 
Blessed are the Ones
who know the joys
of arm in arm,
who taste first hand
each other and know it
