We've made promises under open skies,

Shared dreams that touch the heart's sighs.

Tears of joy in the midnight air,

On the wings of birds, our love poems share.

Like morning lilies, our love blooms free,

In wild, poetic ways, our hearts beat with glee.

Our words of love, in poetry's paint,

Create a canvas, where our souls acquaint.

I can't hide the love I feel,

Guilt drives us, we can't conceal.

Our love's pure, special, and real,

We were created to fit and feel.

We sit and talk our feelings, nothing to hide,

We brush our love fresh every day, our love lights anew.

Communication leads, love follows, and our bond grows.

Sometimes I spend my night reminiscing,

I think of a love like none of any kind.

I know we both do the same, we feel the love we flourish.

No matter the distance, love's flame burns bright,

In crazy, beautiful ways, our love takes flight.
