Love's Languages

Love's Languages

Love has a multitude of languages
All of us fluent in our own
To truly understand another
There are specifics to be known
We all have baggage, if we've lived
Though it shouldn't define who we are
Forgive, accept, move on and know
That true love can heal any scar
I am quite vocal about what I need
It's important for me to survive
Words of affirmation, my Achilles heel
Make it possible for me to thriveΒ
So keep your gifts, they're lost on me
Just give me your soul and a daisy
And if your idea of romance is red roses
Well, darlin', that's just lazy. ~kjl
