Lucas James Has Arrived

Lucas James Has Arrived

Our new great-grandson

We have an addition to the family, our newest progeny;
His given name is Lucas James, as precious as can be!
He is the first boy in his bloodline, for all the rest are girls;
His Aunts and all his cousins, pink dresses and cute curls!
.
He is only five days old now, today the family will meet;
To welcome him to our world, to hold him and to greet!
He will always be loved very specially, for our clan is truly dear;
Lots of hugs and kisses, whenever we are near!
.
.
Baby Lucas James

Our Dear Tony,

We can't find the words to convey how the beauty of "yours", has touched our hearts so deeply.  What a lucky little boy, to have one of the world's greatest poets honoring him so.
Thank you for your heartfelt, glorious comment.

All our love,
Linda and Larry xxx

Awwww!  Congratulations!  I cannot believe you are great-grandparents!  It is so neat to finally have a boy in the family  I remember how excited my dad was when I found out my first child was a boy because my sisters all had girls and my parents only had four girls, so it was a big deal.  My dad still thinks my oldest son, Collin is special for being the first boy.  I know you are enjoying getting to hold him and welcome him into your family.  I just love the smell of newborn babies!  I am so happy for you and Linda!  oxo Love n Hugs

Our Dear Cherie,

Wow!  So you have experienced the same thing in your family, finally heralding in a little boy.  It's hard to believe that we have more great-grandchildren, than most people have grandchildren.  Of course, Larry had his first child at twenty, and was a grandfather at thirty-seven.  So, great- grandchildren came early in this family.
I love the smell of new babies too, and Larry agrees, as long as one is enjoying aromas of baby powder and lotion.  But he says he has a problem with dirty diapers. Ha, Ha!!

All our love,
Linda and Larry xxx

My Dear Lauren,

Yes, Lauren, I must admit that when people show me photos of newborns, and say, "Aren't they beautiful", most of the time, I can't see it.  But this precious picture, I can honestly say without bias, I think is darling.
Thank you for your lovely welcome to my new great-grandson.

All my love,
Larry xxx
