Lucifer Cries

The praise of Love, the crux of life, lucific tears, the praise
Of light. And death aflame, the grave of dreams, fraught
With prayer, and biblic screams. My christic heart, aflare
To die, to join the Christ, and soon revive. For pebble
Scars, a ruptured soul, the parts of death, a cryptic scroll.
My darkest light, a mystic lore, the plight of Christ, a
Cultic sore. And wood to blood, a biblic tree, the curse of
Breath, the kef of glee.

The praise of Love, the crux of life, lucific tears, the praise
Of light. And life aflame, the perch of prayer, a bless-ed
Pool, a Kingdom flare. My mystic God, the tears of Christ,
Suffused with pang, the bane of life. And demon praise, the
Smaze of sin, a melic arc, a lambent fen. And wood to
Blood, a biblic tree, the curse of breath, the kef of glee.

Lucifer/lucific: a Morning Star, a bringer of light.
Christic: of, or relating to Christ.
Cryptic: containing within a hidden, often impenetrable dimension; when the entirety of meaning is only grasped in conjunction with the surface context and the core context combined.
Scroll: a parchment, a type of writing paper, with words of God, even rules to live by.
Cultic: I employ this concept to reference veneration of Christ, and hidden realities.
Mystic: a mysterious reality; an inward chamber where divine communion takes place; a sudden awareness where insight into difficult matters are revealed; a vibration within the heart; an energy rippling through one’s entire being. This is a partial, working definition. It is not intended to capture the mystic principle in its entirety.
Smaze: smoke and haze, such as a blackdamp.
Lambent: of light or fire flickering softly.

Melic: a poem to be put to a song.
Fen: a low and marshy frequently flooded area of land.

Kef: anything that causes an altered state of consciousness.
