Luck

Luck

Splintered light bestows descent,
Pilfers through plight lament,
Warmth of touch caress and grace,
New web spun garners pace.

Shattered walls tumble and crash,
Bewildered, hindered by its mass,
Held by the throat contort and twisted,
Dared to dream though reluctant to risk it.

Shadows dance and move away,
Sunlight savours incessant pray,
Courageous in camouflage midst thin air,
The dreamer of tales, to venture, nor dare.

I stand betwixt the winds of change,
Now my travel knows no range,
A strike of change upon my crown,
Darkened days now upside down.
