Luck

Luck is not my friend
It doesn't come to me
Luck doesn't like me
He's my enemy
He stays away from my part
Like a game of life and no find
But I don't need you luck
I hope you don't mind
That I took your sister destiny
And put it in my hands
Luck you were never here for me
Not from where I stand
I've waited a lifetime
For you to come to me
But you just passed me by
And said goodbye to me
You never showed your face
Just blew away with the wind
Now it's up to me
To bring you back again

Good heart felt write. We've all been there knowing nothing but despair. Like the world has abandon us. Even JC asked out loud from the cross, "God, why have you forsaken me?"
But what I liked most about this poem is the way it ended. The poet realizing he must seek his own destiny and find his own luck
Sexipoo's poem also brought back memory of an old fax joke from the 80's. A poster seeking a missing pet.
LOST: male dog
Has one eye
Mangled left ear
Only three legs
Crooked tail
Goes by the name "Lucky"
