Poem -

Lullaby

Sleep a little while in peace
Let your dreams be pure as gold
On a bed of finest fleece
Let your troubles all unfold

Let them melt into the night
Join the stars so far away
There as little dots of light
Your troubles awhile can stay.

You may sleep a sleep so deep
Just like a kitten purring
While up above like lost sheep
Your troubles all go whirring

Round and round they spin and sound
Their silly bleat and braying
Those troubled sheep with no ground
Or sense in what they're saying.

For Suns and Moons like leaping sheep
Above you they are spinning
While you may sleep and quietly keep
Sweet dreams sweet sleep is winning.
