You know you`re getting older
When everything begins to hurt.
But what doesn`t hurt!
Now just won`t flippin work!!
You`re feeling like the morning after
But you didn`t go out the night before!!
But you really want a kiss and a canoodle from that cutey from No 4!
She always smiles and bats her lashes
And her lips seem especially red today!
She seems to be keen on you!
But you just stupidly grin again!!
And don`t know what to say!
The passion is there!
That`s no problem!
Well! the thought of it is anyway!!
It`s the get up and go that has gone!
The raw lust of that youthful guy
You remember!?
That skinny one!!
But your knees buckle with nerves now!
And your belt won`t!!
You can only burn the midnight oil till about nine!
The twinkle in those eyes of yours!
Are just the sun on your bifocals!! not shine!
Your back goes out more now, instead of you!
But for her you`re just raring to go!
So you comb over that patch! that`s getting a bit thin!
And you pull in what you can, with a silly big grin!!
Then just pray that it won`t show!
You find an excuse to knock on her door
You`ve ran out of sugar again, you think!?
But after all that?!!
She`s not bloody in!!
She`s out with him next door!!
They`ve both gone for a drink!!!

I don't know why no one commented on this ....it really is quite funny.Ā I especially liked the lineĀ "Your back goes out more now, instead of you"Ā (lol)Ā and the part him combing over his hair and sucking in his belly....I think any one can relate to this.........except maybe kids...........I think i'll check out that book of yours......I can order that online right?........anyway, got more to read....see ya....tony
