Lycanthrope

Lycanthrope

In fields of mallow,
Laid in whimper, tis harrowed.
Awoken from slumber,
Under wild growth in shallow.

Beneath the stars in swoon,
Howls profusely at full moon.
Savage teeth and eyes,
Human flesh is consumed.

Raw instinct derived,
Dark entity in thrive.
Devouring remains,
Under blackened night sky.

Unnatural beast,
On full moon it feasts,
It stands on hind legs,
Malefic to peace.

Carnivorous at night,
Terrifying in sight.
Human once more,
Reborn with dawns light.
