Madison

Madison

She rides like the wind.
She is like the wind.

An unstoppable fury,
crossing one's path.

Taking your breath,
leaving you tattered,
hopeless, shattered.

You dared to
take her on.

Yet in an instant,
she warms you.
Her presence calms you,
gentle as the breeze.

Sweet and tranquil.
From where, you wonder,
does the fury come?

But it is there.
She is a force.
Her will can bend the trees.
Her gentleness canΒ
make you smile.

Like the windΒ
kissing your cheek.
