Magnolia's Dream

Magnolia's Dream

Magnolia's Dream
Of creamery white that leathery bloom, through a long hard fight as the cannons boom. Your generals lay there at your feet as they salute your might though all their gloom.
The blood of many that feeds your soul and waters your roots with tears of those of the souls they stole. Bring your beauty to the fields the many that cast their shadows to those stones in a roll.
As you dream of the banner's that carry your name and shutter the thoughts that brang you the shame. Stand proud to the land you tower above, and show off your color their blood did not stain.
