Major travesty

It is a major travesty
All the things that happened to me
When I think back to all the dread
I seriously want to hide out in my bed
Although my past was rocky
It had to be as I was too cocky
Pushing helpful and good people ahead
Being typically and logically misled
The many years I was in atrocity
Left me living a life of pure thievery 
I learned very young the rules not to tread
But never did I feel unfed
At one point I decided to unbury
All my lyrics that included a derry
Deciding which ones I must shred
And the ones I should finish instead
This is an exercise of truth and charity
Leading me to a position of necessity
I want my profound words to be read
Here's hoping that they help one of the kindred
