Poem -

Mama

A widowed mother cries
By her sons grave.
It's a sight to see,
That's what they say.

But, I won't look.
Yes, I will look away,
Because that mother
Cries by my grave.

I'm sorry Mama,
I'm sorry I hurt you,
Made your eyes
Bleed water.

I wasn't thinking of you,
When it happened.
I'm selfish, I know.
I miss you, Mama.

I'm sorry Mama,
I made your heart
Cry itself to pieces.
I'm sorry I hurt you.

I want your forgiveness,
But only if I'm truly forgiven.
Don't forget me,
I won't forget you.
