Theres nothing like mince & tatties
It hits the spot with me
Along with carrots, peas & dumplings
Thats what I’m making for our tea

When the north wind blows
In winter time,
This recipe is a friend of mine
Knee deep in snow & icy feet
My full crock pot goes down a treat

I’ve made this meal since I got wed
It fills five mouths & keeps them fed
I sometimes make my mince with lamb
I got this idea from my Mam

When I was small & just a tot
She made this for me quite alot
