The dusk and the dawn are the beautiful times

When the shades of the day and the night

Blend in the most harmonious rhymes

And the muscle of each become slight.

As they enter a bond to create something new

Something richer and wiser than each.

When they honour their differences as a thing true

and as something each one has to teach.

They take from each other the strong and the wise,

And the gentle and spiritual best.

They gain a new world as the man braves the skies

And the woman draws him to her breast.
