Man Overboard

This one will take you deeper than the bottom of the sea. 
To the lowest depths where all regrets 

are drowned in empathy. 

Even though that sinking sense drags you to the bed. 

You self implode against the load and pulled further down instead. 

Tangled in the seaweed of your pityful demise 

Nobody can sense your fear 

that hides behind your eyes . 

They only see the damage caused like a great white senses blood . 

You can't escape the trap you made when you're held in sand and mud. 

All you see are distant shadows while you're fighting for your breath

Scared to breathe in, scared to breathe out

Your drowning to your death. 

Kick your legs and push yourself 

And waste your energy .

Its only you within yourself that can truly set you free. 

SNAP, you start to think and pray for forgiveness for all the wrongs you've done

Your body's cold like ice at bay your mind has come undone. 

Your eyes frozen shut your lips turn blue . 

Still the pressure's just too much. 

Hearts barely beating anymore 

No strength to feel a touch.

Comatised in self neglect you start to dream of living 

Forgive yourself of past regrets, released in what your giving. 

Still deeper than a sunken ship still struggling for air 

your body starts to float above but sharks are everywhere. 

There to tear you limb from limb until there's nothing left 

Your eyes still closed floating through the bloody gore and mess. 

Finally the surface light warms your body's heart . open eyes still shocked in fright 

You're About to be torn apart.

 you see the great whites snarling fangs 

And feel it's power surround you . 

Its giant fin quickly moving in ,

mouth engulfs its teeth around you.

 Biting down you feel his wrath split you to your bone.

 I'm thankful it seems. it was only a dream

 And I'm at home in bed still alone.
