Man up (no more brooding)

Man up (no more brooding)

Standing tall,
his feet clothed in moss
to keep his roots warm,
this oak greets
his family across the road.

He knows now
his children behind him
hide a deer child.

Indeed,
he has done his deed.

Thank you, my stuff is too often to ideosyncratic, I know, but at times I try to keep it simple. I am diversifying in subjects after over 40 years of plodding on ?
