Poem -

Many stones.

Must I mourn a late summers kiss, embraced by soul my afflicting error , occurred abrupt
and late like supper
The taste once sweet
Now wept

For nothing less, the heart be told, a fraction early held more truth

I kissed the night with childlike stars, bathed
in blackness , a fairytales youth

And in the morning hours
Passed the time in light

Belonging to corridors of that frightening sight

Love and the roads misleading, flee

Away from home, and company

To walk with dust and many stones
A road forgotten, a turning end

I kissed goodbye mine enemy, I longed before
a friend

I sacrificed eternity
The woven, and the mend

To fracture like a cracking glass, once raised and plenished deep

I gave it up for a solemn song, the lone Star
Had me keep
